Sporting a luxurious fur coat that can outshine the trendiest winter fashion, our stylish friends are on a culinary mission, diligently collecting and stashing goodies in their underground hideaways. Their burrows are like the five-star hotels of the animal world—cozy, chic, and fully stocked. Picture this: skunks snuggled up in their comfy chambers, sharing body heat and not minding a bit of body odor.
When winter turns icy, some skunks declare, “It’s naptime!” and slip into a “torpor,” sort of like hibernation, essentially the animal equivalent of a day-long Netflix binge in bed. It’s a clever strategy to conserve energy and breeze through those chilly days with ease.
