Hillside Oil Heating & Cooling Is Named a Finalist in the Heating/AC Service Company Category in Delaware’s 2026 First State Favorites – North Community’s Choice Awards.
NEWARK, DE – Hillside Oil Heating & Cooling is proud to be named a finalist in the Heating/AC Service Company category in the 2026 First State Favorites – North Community’s Choice Awards. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes from the community we serve: homeowners, families, and neighbors who turn to Hillside for comfort year-round.
The First State Favorites – North Community’s Choice Awards celebrate businesses and organizations in New Castle County. Members of the public nominate their favorites and vote for the businesses they want to recognize. To everyone who took the time to nominate Hillside, cast a vote, or encourage a friend to support our team: thank you.
When a home needs heat on a cold winter morning or relief from a hot Delaware summer, choosing a service company is a matter of trust. Our customers invite us into their homes and rely on us to help care for the systems that keep their families comfortable. We value that responsibility with every service call, maintenance visit, and heating or air conditioning installation.
Heating and Air Conditioning Service for Every Season
The work behind this recognition happens in homes throughout our service area. When a heater stops keeping up with the cold, Hillside’s heating repair services help homeowners address the problem. When older equipment is ready for an upgrade, our furnace installation and replacement services give customers a starting point for planning their next heating system.
Summer brings a different set of comfort needs. Our team provides air conditioning repairs, installation, and replacement. For an addition, a home without existing ductwork, or a room that needs its own temperature control, ductless heating and cooling systems offer another option to discuss with Hillside.
Keeping equipment in good shape matters between service calls, too. Our heating and AC maintenance plans help customers plan for routine tune-ups and ongoing system care. Whether the next step is a repair, seasonal maintenance, or a new installation, we appreciate the opportunity to help our neighbors make informed decisions about their home comfort.
The People Behind Your Home Comfort
This finalist recognition reflects the dedication of the entire Hillside team. From the people who answer the phones and coordinate appointments to the technicians and installers working in customers’ homes, each person helps shape the experience our customers remember. Their care, skill, and commitment to doing the job right are at the heart of Hillside’s service.
As a family-owned and operated business with more than 70 years of service, Hillside is proud of the relationships built across generations. We are grateful to longtime customers who continue to call us, new customers who give us the opportunity to earn their trust, and neighbors who recommend Hillside to family and friends.
Hillside provides heating, air conditioning, heating oil delivery, and commercial fuel services to residential and commercial customers in New Castle County, Delaware; Cecil County, Maryland; and Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania. This community recognition gives us one more reason to keep working toward the mission that guides us every day:
“Keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer while doing customer service right.”
